In what city and state were you born? What brought you to the Katy area?
I was born in Danbury, Connecticut. I moved to Arizona in 1991 and went to Arizona State University where I met my husband Matt. We then lived in Utah before moving to Katy, Texas in 2003.
Have you ever had braces or Invisalign®? If so, how old were you?
I have never had braces or Invisalign.
When you are not in the office, where can you be found?
When I am not working you may see me at the fields watching my kids play sports, volunteering at my kids schools or with NCL, at the gym or playing tennis.
Would you rather travel by plane, train, or automobile? If money were not an issue, where would you go?
I used to take my kids on month long road trips all over the United States. Nowadays, I prefer to travel by plane.
Our family would like to go on an African Safari in the future.
What is your favorite joke or something that always makes you smile?
My kids make me laugh out loud when they do impersonations. They are pretty good at it.
What do you love about your job at Hanis & Stevenson Orthodontics?
I have thoroughly enjoyed working for Hanis & Stevenson Orthodontics because I get to give back to the community on a daily basis. Whether it’s sponsoring our patients different involvements or keeping the community informed about dental health and providing necessities they need. It is very rewarding.
How would your best friend describe you in three words?
My friends would describe me as Loyal, Energetic and Creative.
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
If I could learn anything it would be fluency in different languages. I would love to speak Spanish, Mandarin and French!
Who is a favorite fictional character of yours, and why?
Growing up, I loved watching Scooby Doo. He always solved the mystery at the end of the show and had fun doing it.
Why did you decide to go into the dental/orthodontic field?
I didn’t come from a dental/orthodontic background, however working in this field has taught me so much and I am so grateful for being a part of such a great family!
