What city and state were you born in? What brought you to the Katy area?
I was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan but my family moved to Houston when I was one. I grew up in southwest Houston just 5 minutes from Astroworld.
When you are not in the office, where can you be found?
I am usually spending time with my wife and 5 kids. We live to swim, camp, watch movies, play games, or hang out together.
Would you rather travel by plane, train, or automobile? If money were not an issue, where would you go?
I love to fly in airplanes. I love to watch planes take off and land. On a research trip to Finland, I purposely routed through Frankfurt so I could fly on the Lufthansa Boeing 747 which I always wanted to do. If money was no issue I would love to travel to Bora Bora.
What is your favorite joke that always makes you smile?
Q: What is the difference between Roast Beef and Pea Soup?
A: Anybody can roast beef.
What do you love about your job at Hanis and Proft Orthodontics?
I love everything, the patients, the incredible team I work with each day, the results, the conversations with people, the community involvement, the diagnosing and treatment planning, the ever-changing technology, and the ability to make a difference in people’s lives.
How would your best friend describe you in three words?
Hardworking, trustworthy, and kind.
